The government of Eritrea aka Isayas has told the Eritrean people point blank that badme (demarcation) is not a priority. I can look for the clip if anyone cares.
Hi Eden,

I remember the interview. Could you find the clip?

Re: Why is Eritrea not demanding the official border demarcation and finally complete the divorce with Ethiopia?

Deceitful Agame Sarcasm aka former Somali….

Who cares whether villages are split or not ? This is not a couple divorce. It is just an excuse. Both Weyaneand Isayas used the border demarcation as a bargaining chip. Neither had the desire to demarcate it. Eritreans got hurt more as a result. Melese has been gone for a long time now. Isayas is aging. The truth will be told not far in the future. Many of you including on the Eritrean side will have a hard time acceptable it.
