The so called tricks are only in your head between your two cadre ears because you lack nominal capacity for keeping peaceful relationships with a person who open handedly offered you peace and prosperity with out any question. Why can't an independent country like Ethiopia make relationships and agreements with Republic of Somaliland, a country that have been independent Since 1991and has been governed by democratically elected governments of its own. It is the large state in the world by de facto controlled land area.

Then there are lots lots of foreign military bases around there coming from very far away countries. What logic keeps away a large country like Ethiopia from interacting peacefully with its neighbor and cooperator on win-win peaceful relationships.
