The cost related to the failure of Shabia and TPLF to establish a strategic alliance over the last three to five decades has been beyond measure in terms of loss of life, destruction of economy/assets , damage to the brotherhood/ trust among the people , and lost opportunity in synergetic development . I expect post-Isaias Eritrean government and TPLF to forge a well articulated and negotiated strategic agreement with measurable goals based on mutual respect and benefit for both parties. The strategic agreement should be beyond the usual superficial and meaning less saying "አህዋት፤ ኢና" while covering up the real crises we are in and avoid egoistic fighting for a peace of barren land or other issues. Wether we like it or not we are "blessed or condemned " to live together. The choice is ours!

It is a good idea and it will happen not only with Tigray but with whole Ethiopia. One thing Tigryans should understand is that Tigray not viable for independent state. It is impossible; once you understand that then you move to the next step, witch is living in peace with the rest of your surrounding.
