Abiy is packing some sand to sell to the Arabs. Keep drinking though for I don't want to drown your festive spirits. But don't forget to have the offer in writing, approved and institutionalized.

PS. I don't see the eye colors of the two Tigres to be any different from the other. Same people with same physical features.

Ha..why hasn't the "leading" Eritrea insisted this plan be sold to Ethiopians too and this type of report was not broadcasted on ETv too? Wait a minute though..why is Abiy the sales man in this infomercial not Issu? And most of all why only present what Ethiopia can offer without a word what Eritrea brings to the table? Really dude...

In 1986, seven dictators from aid addict East African countries, namely Ethiopia, Somalia, Djibouti, Sudan, Uganda and Kenya, established what was then known as IGADD, an acronym for Intergovernmental Authority on Drought and Development. Ten years later in 1996, at its newest member Eritrea's insistence, the organization was reformed and renamed to IGAD by dropping the word "Drought" that Eritrea felt carried a negative connotation, for drought is a natural phenomena that is not unique to the region alone. But for the donor nations, drought was the excuse they used to dump their expired food reserves in the region in exchange for natural resources such as precious metals, timber, coffee, sugar...etc, hence their anger over Eritrea.

When the newly reformed IGAD started reflecting signs of self reliance for the first time however, the country responsible for defining its long term goals and vision became a target of smear campaign by the donor nations that benefited from drought and other natural disasters in the region. Through bribes and aid incentives, the donor nations were able to take control of IGAD, eliminated the chairmanship rotation, and handpicked the TPLF slaves to chair the organization without term limits, which enabled the TPLF to violate IGAD's conflict prevention, management and resolution policy framework by invading an IGAD member state Somalia, resulting in the principled Eritrea suspending its membership in protest.

2018 was the year people in East Africa were finally able to breathe a sigh of relief after 27 years of chaos and instability. The demise of the TPLF regime has made it possible for the promotion of regional cooperation and economic integration at the heart of IGAD's goals and objectives. Once again, the victorious Eritrea is leading the flock to green pastures. Ain't you glad you lived to see this day!

You know, only few creatures are capable of seeing themselves in a mirror and recognize that it's them in the mirror who look back at them........Obviously, you never had one- a mirror. So as a good neighbor, we chime in from time to time to loan you that scarce commodity so you would have self-reflection.....instead of being told what you look like by the likes of Martin Plaut or the people you admire 'for their ability of smooth operations'!

Your question obviously displays the depth of ignorance and delusion you have been wallowing in; even your 'qoratu' leader Mengistu had some insight at one point and affirmed, in his usual non- diplomatic vernacular, what we've known about you for a while:

ወርቅ ቢያነጥፉለት ፋንድያ ነው ከሚል ሕዝብ ጋር......

May God be with Abiy!

Weizero Aslequ, you became supporter of the dictator in his last hour. He is not the man who can decide Eritrea's long term relationship with any country.

As you see, he is more happy and relaxed in Ethiopia than in Eritrea. In Eritrea, he is uptighted for the right reason. Hence don't count your egg before they hatches. Furthermore, every individual you support end up in prison or get killed, and the dictator will not be different.

Sorry Deqaqu,

I didn't mean to crush your hope filled high spirit on this fine Sunday. If it helps, this was also presented on ETV. The only thing they kept talking about is how this tour was educating Issu. Reall, dude, that's what they said. No infomercial byQibew Abiy about economic and political integration. None! Can you believe that?!

For over 70 years, two world super powers had their eyes fixed on Eritrea for reasons only themselves and Eritreans know about-- reasons that were kept secret from their aid-fed, mindless feudal minions, communist barbarians, and mercenary slaves carrying out their orders without thinking. Revealing the reasons to people who affectionately say "We don't care whether it rains in Ethiopia as long as it rains in Iowa", is like pouring water on a rock and expecting osmosis to occur.

Man that's deep! It must come from a very disappointed self. Blame the man who sold you empty promises not me who pointed out the emptiness of the promise! አብይን ያመነና ጉም የዘገነ አንድ ነው ተብሏልና!   And the insult they delivered on public TV too is not to be overlooked.

The agame beggar mentality that says, "if Eritrea doesn't bring food-aid to the table, what's in there for me?", is what had kept Ethiopia impoverished, destitute, and with only $153 Wealth Per Adult for 27 long years. No sir, Eritrea doesn't come to the table with a basket of fish, but with fishing rods to teach you how to feed yourselves so you may earn dignity and respect.
