Due to the fact that the majority of visitors of this forum are either very young, or semi-illiterate ,TPLF has become the only culprit that has ever existed in Ethiopia, and nobody remembers who TPLF has learned from!

I totally agree with you. But when the average supports or doesn't protest against what the "elites" are attracted to, then I believe it becomes very difficult to distinguish between the elites and the average folk!

For instance, as you know, Meles has committed death and destruction in Somalia in the name of Ethiopia and Ethiopians. And since we've never seen a single Ethiopian protesting against those lamentable acts, we make Ethiopia and Ethiopians accountable to such atrocities - without separating the average folks from the elites.

It's not about forgetting the past, but rather, about priorities. What's more important: you current problems, which require critical thought and solutions; or the problems of the past which occurred already and you have no control over?
You can effect change, in the present, but not in the past. TPLF can never be considered as an ally to us Oromo's, but to deny the role of the other parties [OPDO/ANDM/and others] in helping the TPLF loot, kill, etc, is to deny the truth itself. TPLF is not the one killing Oromo's today, nor are they the enemies today.
