ኖቫርቲስ የተባለ የመድኃኒት አምራች ኩባንያ ከዩናይትድ ስቴትስ ጋር በገባው ውል መሠረት ሃይድሮክሲክሎሮኪን የተሰኘውን የወባ መድኃኒት በ440 የኮቪድ-19 ተኝቶ ታካሚዎች ላይ ሊሞክር ነው።

መድኃኒቱ ለዘመናት ወባን ለማከም ጥቅም ይውል የነበረ ሲሆን የአሜሪካው ፕሬዝደንት ዶናልድ ትራምፕ ኮሮናቫይረስን ለማከም ያግዛል ማለታቸው አይዘነጋም። ምንም እንኳ ሃይድሮክሲክሎሮኪን ኮሮናቫይረስን ለማከም ያስችል እንደሆን ሳይንሳዊ ድጋፍ ባያገኝም መድኃኒቱን ገበያ ላይ ማግኘት ከባድ እየሆነ መጥቷል።

መቀመጫውን ስዊዝ ያደረገው ይህ ኩብንያ «የወባ መድኃኒት የሆነው ሃይድሮክሲክሎሮኪን ኮቪድ-19ን ለማከም ይረዳ ይሁን አይሁን ማወቁ ምን ያህል አስፈላጊ እንደሆነ ተረድተናል» ይላል።

በዓለም ዙሪያ ያሉ ቤተ-ሙከራዎች አዲሱን ኮሮናቫይረስን ለመከላከል የሚረዳ መድኃኒት ለመፍጠር ሽር ጉድ ላይ ናቸው።
