በምትኖርበት አካባቢ የዘር መድልዎ እየደረሰባቸው ስለመሆኑም ኢትዮጵያዊቷ ትገልጻለች። አንድ ጓደኛዋ በታክሲ ለመሄድ ስትሞክር አሽከርካሪው ለኃላፊዎች ደውሎ፤ ወደ ለይቶ ማቆያ እንድትገባ መደረጓን እንደማሳያ ትጠቅሳለች።

"አንዳንድ ነገር ልገዛ ወደ ሱፐር ማርኬት ሄጄ 'ይቅርታ የውጪ አገር ሰው አንቀበልም' ብለው ከልክለውኛል" ስትልም የደረሰባትን ታስረዳለች።

Isaias: Coronavirus is like a sudden war

- Eritrean President gave a rare statement today.

(EP) In his message, broadcast through Eri-TV/Radio Dimtsi Hafash to the Eritrean people inside the country and abroad today, President Isaias Afwerki (pictured) stressed that it is incumbent on all of us to emerge triumphant in these trying times by marshalling the requisite awareness/hard toil.
President Isaias noted that the global threat posed by the pandemic (COVI-19) is analogous to a sudden war, without any parallel in our contemporary times, that has been declared without any warning or prediction by all standards.

President Isaias further stated that in spite of the grave danger that COVID-19 poses, we have to ensure that it does not overwhelm or paralyse us and derail the development programmes we have embarked on with redoubled efforts and in tandem with the fight against this pandemic.
Finally, the president wished Happy Easter for tomorrow, Ramadan (April 23-May 23) and a good rainy season for summer.

Doctors group accuses WHO of ‘political games’ over coronavirus Financial Times

World Medical Association calls for health body to include Taiwan in pandemic response

A group representing 10m doctors around the world has censured the World Health Organization for being involved in “political games” by excluding Taiwan, saying that its absence damaged the health body’s response to the coronavirus crisis.

The criticism by the World Medical Association came after President Donald Trump this week cut funding to the WHO, accusing it of “severely mismanaging and covering up the spread of the coronavirus”.

ከኮሮናቫይረስ የዳኑ ሰዎች ቁጥር ከ570 ሺህ በላይ ደረሰ

በኮሮናቫይረስ እስካሁን ከተያዙት ሰዎች መካካል ከ570 ሺህ የሚበልጡት ከበሽታው መዳናቸውን ከዓለም ዙሪያ የተሰባሰበ መረጃ አመለከተ። በዚህም መሰረት ከፍተኛ ቁጥር ያለው ሰው ከበሽታው የዳነባት አገር ጀርመን ስትሆን 77 ሺህ 578 ሰዎች ማገገማቸው ተዘግቧል። በሁለተኛ ደረጃ ላይ የምትገኘው ደግሞ በሽታው የተቀሰባት ቻይና ስትሆን 74 ሺህ 797 ሰዎች ከኮሮናቫይረስ አገግመዋል። ቻይና በሽታውን መስፋፋት በመቆጣጠር በኩል ስኬታማ እንደሆነች ይነግርላታል። በሦስተኛ ደረጃ በርካታ ሰዎች ከወረርሽኙ ያገገሙባት አገር አውሮፓዊቷ ስፔን ስትሆን 59 ሺህ 672 ሰዎች ድነዋል። ስፔን አውሮፓ ውስጥ በበሽታው ክፉኛ ከተጠቁት አገራት መካከል አንዷ ናት። በኢትዮጵያም እስካሁን ድረስ በበሽታው መያዛቸው ከተረጋገጡት 105 ሰዎች መካከል 16ቱ ከበሽታው መዳናቸውን የጤና ሚኒስቴርና መረጃ አመልክቷል።
