During the 27 years the TPLF regime was in power, Deqi Arawit was completely convinced that he could create his "Abay Tigray Republic" dream by hurling insults at the Eritrean people on daily basis. The more Eritreans ignored him as someone suffering from an incurable inferiority complex, the more he grew angry and acted like a toothless dog barking incessantly to have his barks heard.
When the TPLF retreated to Tigray in 2018, Deqi Arawit quickly added the derogatory terms "Tre Sga Eaters" and "Galla" to his vocabulary to unleash his verbal wrath at the Ethiopian people whom he accuses of being an obstacle to his "Abay Tigray Republic" dream.
But what is more interesting is, the moment Getachew Reda abandoned the TPLF Party to join the Prosperity Party, Deqi Arawit also switched sides and became PP's top cadre, going from incessant barking to growling and howling, all the while weaponizing his inferiority complex to do battle once again with his "eternal enemies": the Eritrean people, whom he calls "Dream Killers!"
