Zombie:

Have you ever asked why your master dictator allowed for Ethiopia to use the Eritrean ports free?

Has this kind of deal followed the proper channel of agreement between to separate countries?

No, the dictator never followed the proper agreement between the two separate countries - Eritrea and Ethiopia.

The Eritrean Hero General Biteweded challenged the fvcking dictator about this kind deals and your master ወዲ መድህን በራድ jailed Biteweded for calling a proper agreement between two separate countries that all Eritrean Assembly members agree.

Ethiopia was using Assab & Massawa practically for free, from 1991-97.

I tend to agree with what you said with a few exceptions.
During referendum and the years following, there were a few people who benefited from the change who show no respect to the locals, true. But most Eritreans were part of the locals who lived their whole life there and have no animosity towards Ethiopian. To begin with they were part of that fabric until “hibri ayinom” (the colour of their eyes) came up.
Regarding the referendum question: Ethiopians having a say about it doesn’t make sense. Albeit, the referendum was never just could be the argument. I personally don’t believe the referendum results. There were a number of people who never voted and acquired the papers (maninet).
That being said, you have the rest on point. Both people realized that the stance they had about separation was wrong. Ethiopians used to say “how can someone survive with severed head” while Eritreans dreamed about African Singapore. Both were not correct.
What’s benefiting for both sides is to see the future and live together. Animosity never the answer. Excluding Tigray is wrong which will be costly for all of us.

If I may, there was too much propaganda made by respective politicians from both sides. From Ethiopian side, the Ethiopian population was not given the chance to say about the "referendum". I was made all with the will of tplf. From the Ertreans side, people by that time was hateful of Ethiopia. They were brainwashed that way. I am a first hand witness of that phenomenon. So I dont blame if Ethiopians reacted negatively by that time because Eritreans were so aggressive and animous towards Ethiopians. I think, after two decades the two sides have learned the true lesson. Ethiopians never cared about Eritrea after the forced independence, and Eritreans do not seem profited much from their separation. That said, it was all about elites propaganda and the ordinary populations are victims of it. So, am glad that the two people made rapprochement and this is a great lesson for polititians. Its not kids play. Everything the politicians play with has significant impact on the lives of ordinary populations

My piece of excitement is eradicating TPLF from the face of the earth.

If it makes you feel any worse, no Eritrea will never be part of Ethiopia. Piece of excrement.

Here we are talking if Eritreans want to join the union or not. What about Ethiopians? Do all Ethiopian want Eritrea back to Ethiopian fold?
I have come across people who hates me when I tell them my family are from there.
Some even told me that Eritrea is a done deal that they never want to mingle with.
One person said "Eritrea is like a dead limb that's cut off for long. Bringing Eritrea back to Ethiopian fold is willingly receiving venom".
It breaks my heart to hear that.
