Fanos and Amaras celebrating the burning of mosques and Muslim businesses in gojjam
Yes opmerc just because i didnt blindly follow the narrative propagated by well known liars aka Amara extremist elitists and their kind; I am not "qualified," to bring attention to such a serious matter, even though I am Muslim, Ethiopian and Oromo; and the majority of Muslims in Amara state and in Ethiopia in general and Amara state in particular, are Oromo as well!
Your flawed logic is too obvious to not point out.
Once again: if your first reaction to this tragedy is to deflect, change the subject and get defensive; then perhaps you should reexamine your intentions and etc before pointing fingers at ANYONE.
He does not have to directly advocate for violence.
His comments saying muslims are essentially taking over would suffice to alarm hia followers who most likely already harbor anti Muslim and perhaps even anti oromo sentiments, and make them react emotionally. The fact that he said muslim businesses and so on are "increasing in gojjam," and this tragedy occurring in gojjam could suffice to refute your silly argument that his words had no effect or etc.
If you're referring to jawar and co, all you're doing is changing the subject again and deflecting!
Open your own thread on that topic If you want and I'm sure we'll engage you there and my first reaction won't be to deflect either. I'll address your points then etc.
And yes if daniel kibrets advice leads to oromo interests being harmed or even worse, i do not believe he's a proper adviser for any government.
Marginalizing oromos and not answering their legitimate questions will just lead to more instability and civil unrest. Then we'll just remain in this perpetual cycle of poverty, wars, and so on; the same situation of Ethiopia for over a century.
Ethiopia will NEVER have true, lasting peace if oromos questions aren't answered. You cannot marginalize the economic military and geographical backbone of a country and expect to have stability and development... That defies logic.
And yes indeed you have every right to love emiye menelik and long for the days of enslaving oromo farmers and so on; just as we have every right to hate him and the poverty he doomed oromos and other southerners to, due to misappropriation of their lands. And if you think most Ethiopians idolize him you're more delusional than I thought kind sir.
