Eritrea: Sudanese Prime Minister Arrives in Asmara
Nov 25, 2019: Sudanese delegation led by Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok arrived in Asmara for an official visit in mid-morning hours today. The delegation is comprised of the Ministers of Trade & Industry, Internal Affairs,Transport & Infrastructure, Higher Education, and, Parliamentary Affairs.
President Isaias Afwerki met at State House this afternoon Sudanese delegation led by PM Abdalla Hamdok and discussed enhancement of bilateral ties, progress of transition process in the Sudan as well as regional and international issues of mutual importance.
President Isaias Afwerki and PM Abdalla Hamdok further agreed to upgrade the ties of cooperation & partnership between the two countries – especially in the economic, health & education sectors – at this pivotal time when Sudan is going through a sensitive transition period.
