Kiros Alemayehu was an Ethiopian artist from Tigray, North Ethiopia, home to one of the world's recorded ancjent civilisations.

Kiros Alemayehu was a genuine Ethiopian like many kings and generals before him, who stood and fought for Ethiopia and not Tigray. To mention a few, Emperor Yohaness, Alula aba Nega, Ras Mengesha etc were from Tigray but stood with Ethiopian patriots defending Ethiopia against foreign invasions.

TPLF on the contrary became an anti-Ethiopia group and was controlled by Eritreans. Meles Zenawi, who was eritrean by birth and persuasion, killed hundreds of Ethiopians from Tigray region who stood for Ethiopia and opposed the secession of Eritrea from Ethiopia. Meles Zenawi claimed Eritrea claimed Eritrea to be a colony of Ethiopia. Even the boundary between Ethiopia and Eritrea should have been delimited according to Wucchale Treaty, Meles Zenawi , Bereket Simon and other Eritreans purposely delayed the delimitaiton of the border between Ethiopia and Eritrea to permamnenty landlock Ethiopia.

Meles Zenawi and his henchmen killed many pro-Ethiopia Tigrayans. One of them was Kiros Alemayehu, whose songs refelected the need to keep Ethiopia united. Tigrayans need to remember Kiros Alemayehu and to try to bring the criminals who murdered Kiros Alemayehu to justice.

Kiros Alemayehu was poisoned by Eritreans who were members of TPLF and Tigrayans who were cadres of TPLF.
He came to London for a concert and returned to Addis Ababa dead. Eyasu Berhe and Kiros Alemayehu were not friends, but I do not think Eyasu would kill him. Eyasu Berhe was kiled by Meles Zenawi because he was a promising leader, who opposed to the policies of Meles Zenawi and the pro-Eritrea policy of TPLF.

Eyasu Berhe was killed by agents of Meles Zenawi and orders of Meles Zenawi. Eyasu Berhe was posioned in Almata while raising funds for a school by organising Beauty Competition of Raya girls. It was heart breaking and the whole process was televised. The murderer is a guy from Adigrat, Agame District close to Meles Zenawi and an ex-foreign minister, who TPLF Politbureau member, by the name Seyoum Mesfin.
