IMO, Meles created EFFORT as a Developmental State Vehicle; As a DS theoretician who applied DS in the African Setting, using such vehicle otherwise (for ethnic domination) is counter productive.
Ermias- 360's assumption is therefore far fetched.
Off course, if we make conclusions based in the last minute interviews of Sebhat Nega regarding EFFORT, that, the organization belonged exclusively to TPLF' then, Ermias's conclusions is understandable.
BTW, Ermias Amalga wrote in the past on Reporter that Ethiopia don't have to beg IMF/World Bank because it can raise enough money using only TEECOM assets; he didn't say we need to sell all 5Gs.
Having said that, I don't see any difference between Dr. Abiy and Meles when it comes to DS.
The Dr. may have buried "Abyotawi Democracy" but, no one can deny that he is carrying DS forward.
