You think increasing military spending, and buying new equipment, is going to be of any benefit if such a war will be coming as soon as you claim? if the finances existed, it would take at least 30 years to build a military anywhere close to that of Egypt, not just in size, but in expertise and organization.
Do you know how long it takes to train military personnel to use new equipment? develop new tactics and strategies? not to mention how long it takes to receive those weapons in the first place, and the FACT that Ethiopia doesn't have an economy capable of financing a war, they can't even finance a war against Eritrea, so let's not talk about financing a war against the strongest, largest military in the continent, by far...
