The colorful Aba-geda Flag flying high in Addis as preparation is underway for the grand Celebration of Irrecha.

Post by Za-Ilmaknun » 03 Oct 2019, 14:13

The preparation for the grand celebration of Irrecha is under way in Addis, while TPLF is morning in Mekelle. The turn of events in the country is now beyond the grasp of the TPLF juntas whose divide and rule to loot the country agenda is buried deep in the ground. Two years ago, Agazi snipers were stationed in Addis and everywhere ready to shoot on every Irrecha goers. We all know how the supposedly colorful and peaceful celebration ended when TPLF tugs machine gunned the Irrecha crowed. RIP !

If raising a flag is something helpful for cultural and religous (traditional) celeberation, then they should raise the Oromo flag side by side with the Ethiopian flag, not replacing it anywhere in the country. The Ethiopian flag is the superem symbol of soverignity of the country and shouldn't be replaced with any other symbol before all peoples of the country come together and decided on it in unison.

Are we going to have 80 different symbols, or what?

I agree with you that the Ethiopian flag should be given primacy in its symbolism to represent all of us. However, since the advent of TPLF led politics, I am not sure if we all have agreed to which one should be Ethiopia's flag. I am of the opinion that people should be allowed to carry whatever color they think represents them. The aba-geda flag is here presented as representing predominantly the folks who celebrate Irrecha as their cultural/religious holiday and, I don't see anything objectionable.

Mind you tho, that some including the so called federal police were against the carrying of the rainbow color without the star by orthodox Christians at Mesqel celebration. It was too unfortunate that some folks were even prohibited from celebrating MesQel in Debrezeit just because they were wearing clothing bearing the tri-color they preferred. This blatant violation of rights by the security forces is very dangerous and unhelpful if we are to build a nation that tolerates diversity.

Ilu Kkkkk( if you can't win, join them! aye neger Kahadi Amharay, weslata adgi) typical gudelaMharu, there is no greater Oromo enemy than the werada gudelaAmharu who denigrated oromo culture for 150 years and stole Oromo lands including Welo and finfine, so no matter how hard you try to cheat Oromos you will not succeed unless you surrender everything you stole back to its owners. Weyane will remain the force to be reckoned with, it is the guarantor of federalism in Ethiopia, and Ejolies will always appreciate Tigray for all the good things it did for Ethiopia. It is gudelaAmharu like Demekech and Meshrefet who killed Oromos and spied on Oromos. Oromos know who was their immediate enemy.

Security forces have done good job for preventing provocateurs and getting who wanted to shot by some people who have strong traumas about the flag in order to pass as martyrs. If fact the security forces protected these flashy trouble seeking flaggy guys from getting injured and for that you have to send the security some nice gifts instead of blaming them.

Sunny, the parrot..:)

You are so immature at times and driven by emotions than reason. Trust me no amount of earthly force will prevent the rainbow colored flag from flying in the Ethiopian sky. That much I can tell you with certainty. If you and your loved security forces think that you have the day to kill those folks just because they are carrying the flag, it is a matter of time before you will see the reciprocity coming tenfold.

It ain't my fault that people feel trauma whenever they see that flag. You should first ask yourself why you have chosen to become the victims of TPLF. So many have died under that flag to preserve the country that you seem to swallow as your fiefdom. That is a pipe dream !

AbduQe,

You seem to be very angry that I stand for the respect of rights in whatsoever form. I know you and your opportunist TPLF is always about profiting from every little even in the country. It is just before last year that your agazi musketeers mowed the young men and women who were gathered to celebrate Irrecha. No amount of sugar coating of the facts could persuade anybody otherwise. However, I do understand that the Janjawits and the Ibssas are your new found friends who are toying with danger thinking that they could outwit TPLF in deception.. I wish good luck for those fools.

Woyane is is now vacationing in Planet hotel in Mekelle and hypnotized by its nostalgia of the yesteryear's. The political landscap has changed beyond recognition and here you are still talking about the has beens. You will end up in agonizing death while gloating about how you sodomized prisoners and looted the country bone dry. Enjoy the clip below..lool
