There is no Eritrea but Eritrea, and Eritreans are its owners
This is the Eritrean shahada - that there is no Eritrea but Eritrea and Eritreans are its owners.
Eritreans have no brothers or sisters except for other Eritreans.
Everybody outside the country limits is at best a neighbour, and few are traditional enemies.

Re: There is no Eritrea but Eritrea, and Eritreans are its owners
The Eritrean renascence has just began, without much fanfare. The greening of the country one square inch at a time.
Do you know that there has not been a national football league in Eritrea for the past 6 years, and our under 20s are beating everybody at least five goals to zero.Who is going to beat us in football?

justo,
I normally enjoy your thoughts and please keep it up brother, but on this one, please do not act the useless Weyane cadres on this site. Not to take anything away from our brave Red Sea Camels, bragging has never been our modus operandi. Just a thought.

Re: There is no Eritrea but Eritrea, and Eritreans are its owners
Temt, I disagree with you about 'bragging'.
As they say:
" No one can demean you with out your consent" and thus yes we need to brag about our Eritreanism or uniqueness.
We have the facts to support them.
You see our forefathers christened them agames as 'libi tigray twiwai' as deceitful, hasadat etc and it stuck on their back so much so, they hate to be called agames and all the nasty adjectives we call them.
And likewise, we need to be bold and tell the world that we are equal if not better that the next national and certainly than the filthy agames.
So, brag brother, brag. You earned it.
Break the spine of our enemies.
That is why they hate us and call us brothers at the same time.
Yes, I really believe I am 10 times more of a man than 5 agames combined.
Man, no other national would go through what we went through in the last 50 to 70 years and still stand let alone put their enemies in their place.
Again, brag my brother.
Don't give them an inch just to be nice to our enemies.
You give them an inch they will demand a 10 yard.
Heck no! Don't even give them that inch.
We are the best.
Eritrea is the best. Period!

Re: There is no Eritrea but Eritrea, and Eritreans are its owners
My brother Cigar,
Telling the truth, as is our brand, is not synonymous with bragging. Talking or writing about our achievement is not boastful but telling it the way it is. Yes, we have defeated singlehandedly the biggest army in Subsaharan Africa, under Dergue and the Emperor in spite of the huge amount of Armaments and munitions the international community made available to these brutal regimes. We have survived all military machinations supported by the Superpowers, fighting tooth and nail when our stomach was empty and barely clad bodies withstanding the elements of drought, flooding, unbearable heat under the scorched Sun, bone-chilling night colds, and beautiful but rough mountainous terrain with makeshift sandals. We have survived the "no peace no war" crap systematically making ends meet with what we have and successfully challenged the politically motivated declared and undeclared sanctions against us. And now, Eritrea is on good footing and marching forward for a prosperous and peaceful neighborhood. Are these things worth bragging about? Of course, they are. But, have you heard our political leadership, the EPLF, PFDJ, and the GoEr brag about these things. No! Instead "ከይንዛረብ ሱቕ ምባል ስለ ዝመረጽና ኢና።" is what we are accustomed to hearing when the ever lying Weyanes twist things, which they always do, and brag how ...blah! blah! they did for us!
So brother justo was expressing his pleasure with the performance of our Red Sea Camels, as we all do, but without bragging.

Re: There is no Eritrea but Eritrea, and Eritreans are its owners
Temt, you just said what we achieved against the obstacles we faced are outstanding and they deserve the bragging rights.
Well our leaders might not upto bragging but working, but the ordinary Etitreans should brag on their behalf.
What one believes and says is what one is.
If like the agames, put down your head of shame, then such is shameful creature.
And the opposite is also true.

I agree with brother Temt. I also commend brother justo for accepting the brotherly advice like a matured brother he is. That is exactly what good brothers do anyway.
By the way, when I was reading brother justo's comments, my agame brother Adwusha came into my mind. As I scroll down, the low IQ dedebit cadre is right there like a filthy fly
May God bless Eritrea and the people of Eritrea.
Dedebit always dedeb
