There should be multilingual services and reforms in the church where the only church language should be Geez and services could be conducted in a few different languages like in Tigrigna, Oromo, Sidam, Wolaita somalia. I think Tigrigna and Oromo besides Amharic are enough. The church has been abused by Amhara tribalists in the past. By allowing non-amhara Ethiopians to lead the church , we democratize the Church. Amhara preachers and leaders can participate equally with non-Amharas.

It is catastrophal if The Orthodox Church tries to use amharic as service language where many non-amhara do not want to use. Besides there is tribalism in the church. The Church a source of finances for some deacons and it is also a means to dominate non-Amhara Ethiopians, who make 80% of the population.

The Oromo could participate in Orthodox Church if they want. But there is no need to have own synode. They can get The Holy Bible translated in Oromo language.

We need to close The catholic and protestant churches as they have a source of anti-Ethiopia movements.

It is not a problem to get an Oromo pope appointed if there is one in the synode who meets the criteria to be a pope of Ethiopia. The two patriachs or popes from Tigray are well qualified to lead the church. Of course, one was expecting a patriach from Tigray to lead the Orthodox Church and we should be happy for that ( They are usually very spritual and traditional, qualities whcih the church needs to grow and expand)

Oromos do not need to have their own Synode to get a pope appointed. The potential patriach or pope should go through a process, starting from their early years as a child in the church school. If there is any Oromo meeting these qualities, he can appointed to be the patriach of Ethiopia. By the way there are already some Oromo Orthodox archbishops, who could be patriarachs.
