We are still surprised many people are not able to fly directly to Meklle City, Tigray Regional State, North Ethiopia.

Ethiopian business community could fly to Qatar, Saudi Arabia in 1 hour costing as little as US$100.00 for a return ticket. This is specially iportant for business men who need to shop in the oil rich countries.
An International Airport with 24-hour service in Mekelle will bring in billions of dollars in profits. Ths coud be a good alternative for Ethiopia cargo services to export agricultural aor industrial goods. Mekelle Air port is the future for business in air travel to flourish in Africa.
Tigray desrves a fully functioning international airport. We need to encourage private airlines to invest in Mekelle Airport.
