Clearly the Demonstrations in the name of The Orothodox Church were anti-Ethiopia. They used the old chauvinist flag of Amhara tribalists. The Orthodox has contributed to the state formation in Ethiopia, but was not the main actor. The Orthodox Church was like a parasite exploting Ethiopian peasants.
The Ezanas foundad and defended Ethiopia. The Church was their instrument like is today. The Church was not an independent body as is today. The Orthodox Church should change or perish. Ethiopians do not need a church that does not stand for them in the way it should. The Orthodox Church has been used and abused by Amhara tribalists for the purpose of dominating non-amhara Ethiopians.
