ቀሲስ በላይ መኮንን በተደጋጋሚ የአቡነ ጴጥሮስ የስጋ ዘመድ እንደሆኑ ሲናገሩ ሰምተናል። ቀሲስ በላይ መኮንን እውነትም የአቡነ ጴጥሮስ የስጋ ዘመድ ከሆኑ ማንነታቸው ኦሮሞ ሳይሆን ወላይታ ነው። ታላቁ የኢትዮጵያ ሰማዕት አቡነ ጴጥሮስ ኦነጋውያን እንደሚሉን ማንነታቸው ኦሮሞ ሳይሆኑ የወላይታ ተወላጅ ነበሩ። ይህንን የአቡነ ጴጥሮስ ማንነት የሚነግሩን አብሮ አደጋቸው የወላይታ ተወላጁ አቶ ዋና ዋጌሾ ናቸው። «የትምህርት አባት» በመባል የሚታወቁት አቶ ዋና ዋጌሾ በተወለዱ በ108 ዓመታቸው በቅርቡ ሐምሌ 25 ቀን 2011 ዓ.ም ከዚህ ዓለም በሞት ተለይተዋል።

አቶ ዋና «የታሪክ አብነት ከባለታሪኩ» በሚል በ1992 ዓ.ም. ባሳተሙት መጽሐፍ አቡነ ጴጥሮስን በግፍ በተገደሉበት ቀን ሳይቀር አግኝተው እንዳናገሯቸው፤ ማንነታቸውም የታሪክ ፀሐፊዎች በተዛባ ትርክት ምክንያት የሌላ ማንነት ለጥፈውባቸው እንደሚገልጿቸው ሳይሆን ወላይታ መሆናቸውን፤ በአፍ መፍቻ ቋንቋቸው በወላይትኛ ከአቡነ ጴጥሮስ ጋር ይነጋገሩ እንደነበርና ወላይታ ውስጥ የተወለዱበትን ሥፍራ ጭምር ከእሳቸው አንደበት መስማታቸውን በመጽሐፋቸው አስፍረዋል።

አቡነ ጴጥሮስ ከወላይታ ወደ ሸዋ የመጡት የትግሬ ተወላጁን የወላይታውን ንጉሥ ካወ ጦናን ለማስገበር የዘመተው የማዕከላዊ መንግሥት ጦር አንድ ክፍል የሆነው የሰላሌ ገዢ የነበሩት የራስ ካሳ ዳርጌ ጦር ማርኮ ወደ ሰላሌ ስላመጣቸው ነበር። በወቅቱ ከአቡነ ጴጥሮስ ጋር ወደ ሰላሌ የመጡና እዚያው ሰፍረው የቀሩ በርካታ የወላይታ ተወላጆችም ነበሩ። አቡኑ ግን ሰላሌ ውስጥ ያደጉትና የተማሩት ፍቼ በሚገኘው የራሳ ካሳ ግቢ ውስጥ ነበር።

አቶ ዋና በጻፉት ማስታወሻቸው እንደነገሩን ራስ ካሳ ያዳደጓቸውን አቡነ ጴጥሮስን ይወዷቸው ስለነበር ሊድሯቸው ቢፈልጉም አቡኑ ግን ወደ ሃይማኖት በጣም ያዘነበሉ ሰው በመሆናቸው ፍቃደኛ ሊሆኑ አልቻሉም። ራስ ካሳ ይህንን የአቡነ ጴጥሮስን ፍቃደኛ አለመሆን ለወቅቱ አልጋ ወራሽ ለራስ ተፈሪም ጭምር ተነግረው ነበር። ሆኖም ግን አልጋ ወራሹ «ተወው ልመንኩስ ካለ አታስገድደው» ብለው ምላሽ መስጠታቸው ሊመነኩሱ ችለዋል። ቆይተውም ወደ ግብጽ ተልከው ጵጵስናቸውን ተቀብለዋል።

በወላይታ ወላጆች ልጆቻቸው በዐይን በሽታ እንዳይጠቁ «በቄ» በመባል የሚታወቀውን የባህል ምልክት ያደርጋሉ። በወላይታ ዘንድ «በቄ» የሚባለው በዐይን ግራና ቀኝ የሚደረገው ምልክት የመሀል አገር ሰው በተለምዶ የ«የወላይታ ስሙኒ» እያለ የሚጠራው ምልክት ነው። የወላይታ ተወላጁ አቡነ ጴጥሮስም እንደ ወላይታ ልጅነታቸው በቄ ወይም «የወላይታ ስሙኒ» በዐይናቸው ግራና ቀኝ የነበራቸው ሰው ነበሩ።

እንደሚታወቀስ ጳጳስ አይወልድም፤ ስለሆነም የስጋ ልጅ የለውም። በመሆኑም አቡነ ጴጥሮስ የስጋ ልጅ የላቸውም። ቀሲስ በላይ መኮንን በተደጋጋሚ እንደነገሩን የአቡነ ጴጥሮስ የስጋ ዘመድ ከሆኑ ሊሆኑ የሚችሉት ትውልዳቸው ወላይታ ከሆነ ብቻ ነው። ይህ ማለት የቀሲስ በላይ መኮንን ወላጆች ከወላይታ ወደ ሸዋ የመጡት አንድም በገብር አልገብርም ዘመቻው ከአቡነ ጴጥሮስ ጋር በራስ ካሳ ጦር ተማርከው ራሱ ያስተዳደሩበት ወደለበረው ወደ ሰላሌ ተወስደው እንዲሰፍሩ የተደረጉ ናቸው፤ አልያም በሌላ ጊዜ ከወላይታ፣ ወደ ሰላሌ ሄደው እዚያው ሰላሌ የቀሩና ማንነታቸው የቀየሩ ወላይታዎች ናቸው። በተደጋጋሚ ሲናገሩ እንደሰማናቸው ቀሲስ በላይ የማንነትና ቋንቋ ጉዳይ ያንገበገባቸው ፖለቲከኛ ናቸው። እንዲህ በማንነትና በቋንቋ ፖለቲካ ቱግ ቱግ የሚል የፖለቲካ ሰው መጀመሪያ ራሱን መሆን ይኖርበታል።

ስለዚህ ቀሲስ በላይ እውነተኛ የማንነትና የቋንቋ ተቆርቋሪ ፖለቲከኛ ከሆኑ መጀመሪያ ራሳቸውን ለመሆን የተጫነባቸውን የኦሮሞ ማንነት አውልቀው ጥለው በስጋ እዛመዳቸዋለሁ የሚሏቸውን የአቡነ ጴጥሮስን እውነተኛ ነጋዳዊ ማንነት ወይም የወላይታ ማንነትን መላበስ አለባቸው። ይህን ሳያደርጉ ለቋንቋና ማንነት እቆረቆራለሁ ቢሉ ሆድ ሲያውቅ ዶር ማታ ነው። የአቡነ ጴጥሮስን ማንነት ሳይዙ ወላይታ ለኢትዮጵያ በሰጠቻት ሰማዕት በአቡነ ጴጥሮስ ስም ማጭበርበር አይቻልም!

There is nothing new here because the same old Amhara extremist tyrannical religious and political segments trying to deliver the shameful last kicks of a dying horse. Egalitarian and humanist Oromos are saying equality and justice for all, while the extremist and chauvinist segment of the Amharas are saying only my way or no other way.

The irrational and go mad aggressive extremist paranoid segment of Amhara elites (who do not include and represent the good moderate Amharas and ordinary good amhara people) are demanding and saying that the egalitarian humanist democratic Oromos who constitute some 50% of the over 100 million Ethiopians must not have the right to think, learn, translate, write, read, pray and communicate in their lovely and beautiful Oromo language.

Instead these paranoid and ultra chauvinist extremist Amharas are demanding and commanding that the egalitarian and humanist democratic Oromos must necessarily think, learn, translate, write, read, pray to God and communicate only in Amhara language alone. As a matter of fact such fascist extremist self imposition amounts to attempting social, cultural, identity and ethnic genocide if it succeeds, just similar to the system of the bygone Hitlers Nazi Germany's barbaric in human behavior.

What is very interesting and clearly demonistrating the egalitarian and humanist democratic Oromo's just and equitable good behavior is/was the fact that the Oromos are saying that Amharas are good people together with their good Amharic language which Amharas are encouraged by the Oromos and helped to develop, use and practice with out limitations. In this regard and as an example it was the talented and visionary Ayana Birru an Oromo Engineer from Horro Guduru, Wellega who for the first time built and invented the first Amharic Typewriter in 1930 - 1932 and let the Amhara people to have the first Typewriter in their language.

This being the case from the egalitarian Oromo side, all what the extremist Amharas were/are doing is constantly biting the same Oromo generous Oromo hands that have been and are still feeding them in multiple ways.

These shameless extremists are constantly bad mouthing, demeaning, character assassinating and black mailing the good Oromos, just for the purpose of outmaneuvering, dividing and garbing power to bring back their familiar totalitarian dictatorship based on Amhara dictator tyranny, Amhara religion only, Amahara language only, Amhara culture only, Amhara identity only for all, etc. OR death suicidal philosophy!

As a matter of fact not even a single Oromo have the slightest obligation to ask permission from Amhara extremists for using their mother tongue Afaan Oromo the beautiful in any way they like. Similarly, the Amhara people have all the rights to use their mother tongue, Amharic in any way they like. So, this means equality and justice for all! BINGO!

I hope that justice, equality, rationality and humanity may come to prevail, specially with the help of the moderate Amharas playing constructive roles so that all of these decadent destructive hateful paranoid extremists may not spoil the current democratic transitional system and its transformational and egalitarian government not known before for the last some 3000 years of Ethiopian history.
