The "ethnic demagogues" shouldn't hold folks as hostages; the choice should be made by individual families. If individuals decide not to take Amharic class, no one should force them. The states however, should be required to offer it in every school from 1st grade on so that every Ethiopian can be the PM or the President of Ethiopia if they choose to.
