It may be very easy or very hard to invoke a divine sign.

The question of whether an Almighty exists is a short one.

Do you not have a brain of your own to answer this short question before trying to teach about the righteousness of Atse Zara Yakob?

I have no idea if he knew about De rerum natura.

I also do not have any idea about your personal reflection about the schools of thoughts of both.

It surprises me very much if you are putting both on the same page without your own personal reflection about the two schools of thoughts.

If I am not mistaken, Debre is a pre-Christian site for veneration.

I don’t think that where ነቤ has been in veneration for the ages is far from Debre-Berhan.

I believe Debre-Berhan is not too far from where አበይ ባቦ fled when others accepted Christianity.

Debre-Berhan is also where Christianity met Islam.

Years ago, while talking with someone I knew, it occurred to us that the manner in which ገልመ ቃሉ and the Ethiopian Orthodox Church are arranged within are similar.

If the divine sign reported at or around Debre-Berhan is a credible event in history, it wouldn’t surprise me.

A while back, I asked on this forum if the oral story about a dream of the birth of Atse Menelik was credible.

Iteghe Tayitu’s name is about Berhan.

Aton, the ancient Ethiopian prophet’s sign, was also the same.

If you really believe in divine signs, the sign I see is a gathering of believers at Debre-Berhan. Nonbelievers don’t believe an Almighty exists.

If there is a divine sign at Debre-Berhan, one of the signs may be a line between believers and nonbelievers, such as your friend who tried to lecture that to think an Almighty exists is a mental disorder and that religion is advanced slavery.

ምን እያመጣህ ትዘባርቃለህ? አሁን ኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ ሃይማኖ ዐልባ የሰይጣን እምነት ተከታይ በገንዘብ ተገዝተው ሰይጣንን የሚያስፋፉ አሉ ከሚባሉት አንዱ አንተነህ እንደ? እክህደከ ሰይጣን በስመ አብ ወወልድ ወመንፈስ ቅዱስ - አንተ ሰይጣን ከዚህ ጥፋ። ትውልድ ለማሳሳት ለማጥፋት ተገዝተህ የመጣህ ዲያብሎስ ነህ።
