Forced conscription? Why not at a time of a seriius national need. Not desirable as much as state of emergencies is.
Tigrey has to do what it has do to preserve its autonomy as provided by the internationally recognized principle of the right of nations to self-determination.
It also has the right to secede from Ethiopia. There is no treaty it signed to remain in Ethiopia. For that matter, all Ethiopian groups have not signed a treaty to form Ethiopia. They were conquered by bloody wars. They have been mistreated, discriminated, alienated, disfranchised. Millions have beenb slaughtered. They have the right to hate Ethiopia and separate from it.
In Canada, theprovince of Alberta wants to separate from Canada because it reasons that it's exploited by the federal government and getting not rnough in a return in reciprocity. This is a good example to show that to separate from oppression, you do not necessarly have to endure msssacres by federal or national governments.
Just stating the principle. It doesn't mean I do not know TPLF is an evil incarnate. This doesn't deny tplf to assert its right.
