Because that down-sizing of their language and restructuring of their false religion threatens the existence of a false ethnic called Amhara which is a conglomeration of many small ethnics and others deliberately born to speak Amharic, practice orthodox, worship tricolor flag and munch injera to oppress the rest of Ethiopians (socially engineered ethnic ).

The problem is the Amhara-centric Ethiopia is dead long ago. Bringing back that is a bloody thing unlikely to be realized.
