A total of 1213 candidates were shortlisted to write an exam on March 29, 2026. 1138=93.82% are Christians, 353 are females, 75 are Muslims.
Females made 29.10% and Muslims made the dismal 6.18% both of which fall far short of representing the actual population percentages of Females and Muslims of Ethiopia.
Christian Ethiopia is enjoying a privilege of unequal opportunity. A nation cannot be built by only a favored group. It is a historical error of Christian feudal Ethiopia that needs to be corrected. The old culture that alienated and discriminated females and Muslims has to end for Ethiopia to progress equally for all.
