Thanks for posting this track. One of my favorites, from the personality of the artist, lyrics to the melody of the music.
We have to create our own flag rather than keep feudal flags of French molested Haile and barefoot and illiterate genocider Menelick's flag of red, green and yellow just like most Ethiopian nations such as Oromo, Sidama, Somali, Tigrey, the small Harar, Gambella, Benishnagul, etc. Time we sing for Ethiopia with the primacy of Gurage not Gurage for the primacy of Ethiopia.You got to love yourself first.
Time we respect and agree with most Ethiopians. Time we stop appeasing ungrateful Amaras p*mos and pr*stitutes symbol of tgeir Ethiopia.

You are forgetting what today represents in the history of Eritrea and Ethiopia. On the Morning of March 17, 1988, EPLF units started the anninhilation of the Ethiopia occupation force known as Nadew. Within 3 days, three Ethiopian divisions were decimated. Over 120 tanks and armored trucks were either captured or burned. The EPLF captured mountains of armamanets that changed the character of the war forever. It was one of the most spectacular Eritrean victories. After the destruction of Nadew, the eviction of Ethiopia out of Eritrea was just a matter of time.
