Re: የጉራጌ ተዋጊዎች
Zeberga, you are back at it. And then cry like a child.
Stay in your lane.
EOC, Amhara, Menelyick bla bla.
Have you seen any Welayeta, Gamo, Kembata or any other ethnic group in Ethiopia siding with one against the other?
Abiye is flattering you and you fall for it.
Look what he got when he tried to do the same to Tigray.
Again stay in your lane. [deleted] to the Oromuma, who cares? But we will not allow you to do it at the expense of the Amharas.

What is your problem with Gurage of all ethnics. Gurage is still taking care of your beggars in its region without killing. Why are u not against the other Ethnics that are leading their life? Why are you Shankilla-Zeagew, pretend Amhara obsessed with Gurage?

Listro,
የዓብዬን ለእምዬ። Leprosy is in high prevalent in Gurage and Oromia. ወዴት ወዴት ሊስትሮው ጩሎ። let's read it for you.
Key findings regarding leprosy in the context of the Gurage people and central Ethiopia include:
Cultural Terminology and Perception: In studies covering rural areas of central Ethiopia, including regions inhabited by the Gurage, specific local names for leprosy have been identified, such as gegehu yelegode (in the Meskan dialect) and yajamoy (in the Silti dialect). These terms, alongside buska (Mareko) and qumtina (Amharic), often hold similar connotations related to stigma, such as associating the disease with, in some cases, a "curse" or "once a leper, always a leper" mindset.
Stigma and Social Attitudes: Research has shown that, in these regions, there are deeply held, often negative, perceptions of leprosy, with many in the community expressing reluctance to associate with or shake hands with affected individuals.
Epidemiological Findings:
Incidence: A study found that while Amhara and Oromo (Galla) groups formed a higher percentage of cases in a specific, older study on leprosy in Ethiopia, the Gurage were also represented among the patients.
Household Studies: Specific research conducted in the Gurage area (specifically, in 15 households with a leprosy patient) examined immune responses to Mycobacterium leprae in, showing significant differences in the immune responses of family members depending on whether the index patient had a high or low bacillary load.
Treatment and Control: Despite the challenges, the Leprosy Mission International and local health services work in these regions to provide multi-drug therapy (MDT) to cure the disease and reduce stigma.
While the Gurage area is part of the broader,, historically endemic regions of Ethiopia, the focus of current, recent research has often shifted towards high-burden areas in Eastern Ethiopia (e.g., Fedis District) and Oromia, though findings in these areas regarding stigma and knowledge often parallel those found in the central, Gurage-inhabited zones.
