Woldiya:- January 26/2018 E.C (North Wollo Zone Communication) A peaceful demonstration was held in Kobo city against the second war of TPLF.

The deputy administrator of North Wollo zone Mr. Tamrat Nigatu who attended the peaceful demonstration said that trying to impose identity by force is not only a historical mistake but a sign of arrogance.

The leaders of TPLF have said that the plan is working on the Raya people by leaving aside the patience of the people of the people and considering the option of peace as a weakness..

Can Abiy Ahmed enact Welkait Humera as apart of Amhara Region through the federal constitution?

The answer is no. Simply because changing the regional lines officially grants all ethno regions the ability to start clashing over disputed territories. The regional lines of EPRDF have only been broken in Southern Ethiopia SNNPR state.

The establishment of 4 new regions in the south starting with Sidama Region in 2018, Central Ethiopia region encompassing the boundaries of 10 tribes afterwards South Ethiopia Region and Southwest Ethiopia Region

The pattern shows Dr Abiy Ahmed is more willing to establish states that are inclusive to various ethnic groups and regions with the name Ethiopia on it

Therefore Welkait Humera Tegede and Tselemt According to Dr Abiys pattern of thought must be named "Northern Ethiopia Region- Semien Ethiopia Kilil or Welkayt Kilil" which is granted separation from both Mekelle and Bahirdar

Dr Abiy Ahmed needs approval from Mekelle to declare Welkaits independence from Tigray and as long as Tigray is a part of Ethiopia he cannot partition Tigray constitutionally if it will lead to more violence and ethno nationalist sentiments and choas on the longrun

Dr Abiys current position is to ensure on paper Welkait is Tigray but in action it's self-governing and autonomous. This way Abiy Ahmed gains approval from Mekelle and Bahirdar elites

Dr Abiy Ahmed controlling Welkayt enables ENDF to maintain a supply line towards Gonder and Bahirdar that enables ENDF to control the core cities of Amhara. Abiy Ahmed simply cannot withdrawal ENDF from Welkayt

Abiy Ahmed deploying TPF to liberate Raya has shown to us that he is incapable of governing Raya Alamata without some type of local militia support. What Dr Abiy needs to do is evict TPLF from Raya Waja-Alamata and bring in TPF and Amhara Militias to strengthen Federal institutions in Alamata
