Axumezana believes the Ark of the Covenant is in Axum, however it should be returned to Israel.
The Ark was created by God to house the tablets of the Law given to Israel at Sinai (Exod. 25:16; Deut. 10:1–5). Scripture does not record or authorize a permanent transfer of the Ark away from Israel, nor its indefinite concealment. The Tigray Orthodox Church cannot hide the ARK for ever. It has to display it for the world to see!

I don’t believe there is any arch of covenant in the church!
Another fabrication to tranquilize the poor to stay in power by so called Solomonic dynasty kings and their entourage.
I highly agree with you whatever in the church as the arch should be revealed and if it really exists, has to be handed over to the Jewish people to take care of it as it is its rightful place.
EoC has a lot of doctrinal and teaching issues that transcended from old empire rulers, dynasties and it should dust up itself and make itself more appealing to its new generation.
I was trying to read a bit of things like:
-ቆሎ ተማሪ ዳዊት መድገም
-I was reading the life history of prominent saints such as Yared who is known as inventor of music notes even before europeans, I failed to find spiritual connection with new testament. I mean the litergical musical tones, may be instruments.. he invented are still ageless extending even into evangelical churches but his death story or ascension and the way he received his revelation are of questionable spirituality by new testament standard.
Some of these things (ድቁና የቆሎ ትምህርት)are fed to poor kids specially in the northern part of the country devoid of modern standard education. Many great educated ethiopians rose from that school. However subjecting kids to wear lamb skin and undergo suffering through centuries old dogma/tradion is damning to the children but I hope such schools are few today. Priests/pastors today should be people properly trained in conventional theology and new + old testament than undergoing through traditional ቆሎ ትምህርት ቤት:: The kids must have a chance to proper eduction to be tomorrows scientists and entrepreneurs!
I know there will be many traditionalists and nationalists descenting with my opinion that is ok but I keep my opinion.
