If there is going to be recognition there need to be a dozen African states that do it before uae does it

Somalia is totally under Turkey ownership. UAE does not want meddle with Al-Shabab in Mogadishou. UAE has sold base in SLR and UAE & Israel are sold allies. Period.
Israel's goal is to check or kick out Turkey.
So, the main struggle is going to be between Israeili camp v. Turkish Camp.
Stupid Egypt is a side show. The same with Saudis. If there is a power that will join Turkey it is Iran. that is all.
When the Israeli and Trukish Iran from face off, USA will tip the balance. Then we will see what Russia and China will do.
African unity is meaningless. Ethiopia is not hosting AU HQ at the expense of her sovereignty! Africa HQ is in Ethiopia precisely because Ethiopia fought and fights colonial slaves like Egypt. Ethiopia will Africans why she is doing what she is doing and will continue to fight colonial and imperial ambitions over her freedom and sovereignty!
