what are you talking about America isnt going to recognise Somaliland

Think this for a second. The Israel prime minister recognized Somaliland even though he doesn’t have any clue what the US government stands on the issue is. Your assumption.
If you believe that, you believe the Israel’s government sincerely believes Somaliland should be a separate country, which should be divorced from Somalia.
Assuming you believe that, you will have a hard time for not believing the US does not share the same belief like the Israels do.
By the way, Israel lives in the neighborhood. The US learns about the region from Israel , not the other way round.

There has been a lot smoke and screen about this event including the idea of fighting against terrorists of Somalia and Yemen. I really believe that the target is Turkey.

Why was Turkey so prominent during Trump Netanyahu's news conference? Why did Trump did underline that Erdogan is a nice guy?

For Israel Turkey is the new problem. The Ottomans are the first power to commit genocide on Armenians. Now Turkey is testing long range missiles off the Somalia coast. Turkey is building long rage missile for what? It is all about Israel.

So, now Israel is right next door to Turkey project. May be US and Israel don't have the same assessment about Turkeys intentions and capabilities but for Israel this is existential matter.

Abiy has to change the MOU to a binding agreement and after that Ethiopia has to recognize Somaliland. With regard to Eritrea Abiy can wait until Isaias is naturally dead. Following to the death of Isaias , Eritrea will be like Somalia and at that time Abiy can curve out the strip of land from Assab to the historical port Adulis .
