The Inevitable Liberation from the System of Amharic Domination (from SAD)!

The liberation struggle of the Oromô is not yet complete, despite the optimism that followed the regime change of 2018. We removed the oppressive Habesha elites, but the System of Amharic Domination (SAD) itself was never dismantled. This system is still maintained—and even strengthened—by the Hybrids under Abiy Ahmed. Genuine Oromô nationalists must therefore continue the struggle for freedom in unity and later determine which form of sovereignty we wish to establish: an independent Oromia, a federal Orompia (an Oromic-led ethnic federation), or an integrative Oropia (an Oromic-led geo-federation).
It is increasingly clear that Ethiopia is slowly but surely changing its character. The white Amapia (an Amharic-dominated geo-federation) is already gone. The yellow Amarpia (an Amhara-dominated ethnic federation) is in the process of collapsing. The future belongs either to the green independent Oromia, the brown federal Orompia, or the black integrative Oropia.
The next likely phase is the emergence of a free Oromia—either as an independent state or as part of a genuine federation or confederation of free nations. If Ethiopia is to continue as a united territorial state, then its transformation into Orompia or Oropia is inevitable.
This may not be what Oromo or non-Oromo political elites wish to hear, but it is a difficult truth that will eventually be accepted. The Ethiopia we have known has essentially been Amapia and Amarpia—a state dominated by Amharic language and Amhara nationalism. The Ethiopia of the future, however, is on a path toward becoming Orompia or Oropia—a state shaped by Oromummà. This transformation will unfold gradually but certainly. The only way to stop this shift would be the separation of all nations bordering Oromia. As long as Ethiopia remains territorially intact and led by Oromummà, it will inevitably become Oropia.
