Useless Odius farting stink from his mouth.

You left for a higher moral war, for a higher purpose of humanity. To liberate Amara. A Gurage Fano for Amara. To serve as a slave in the kitchens of Amara. To feed Fano fighters. To cook and wash for Zemene Kasse. Sorry, is this ethnic bigotry? You know best!!

Stay there. You have no place in Gurage.
Yamara baria!!!

Thanks for the explanation. The tenant–landlord landholding relationship appears to have been almost universal in medieval Ethiopia.

The number one curse the socialist Derg brought to Ethiopia was land confiscation and the fragmentation of landholdings -damage that is now largely irreversible. The Derg effectively socialized poverty. Had there been a smooth, natural transformation of the governance system—similar to how many agrarian feudal systems evolved in the West—large landholdings could have enabled large-scale farming and higher productivity. Instead, groups like the TPLF and OLF capitalized on the situation, distributing land like candy to their cadres.

Ethiopia is totally messed up by Derg, Woyane, OLF. On top of this # 1 problem, now, fertile agricultural lands are eaten up by expansion of dusty village like towns. Where do you think PP cadres get money? Selling agricultural lands for useless so-called urban houses.

In my opinion, Gurage people uniquely suffered under TPLF-Woyane and now, OLF-Orommuma.

*** TPLF literally cleared out Gurages from Addis Ababa business centers - systematically take over and gave away to Tigres

**** OLF-PPP is getting worse. Demanded Gurages to surrender their identity and strictly observe Aba-Geda tradition - to decorate their forehead with ወሸላ.

******* What is very interesting: During Tigre-woyane, Dr. Fekadu Gedamu for instance was the pioneer
; and now under Orommuma, Biranu Nega and his followers like Huresa and Dama are active.

I am wondering if the AI even got this right:
As we know, the Gurage region has one of the highest population densities
No, AI did not get it wrong. People who grew up in the region can tell you the truth. Up until land was taken by the Socialist regime, the land was variously owned by the Nobility. Mostly Gurage themselves but aligned with the system and paying taxes from their spoil. The poor peasant was a victim of serfdom. Tax was exorbitant. The landless farmer had to till a land owned by a nobility for a small return. Don't be deceived by the density of the region which I believe was created by past wars, Oromo migration etc. Neftegna from other ethnics usually resided in bigger cities and reinforced their rules through local nobility. However, everybody at least had a country and peace which is lost now. There is a general grievance that Gurage could not achieve self-administration of their region. Culturally suppressed including its language in self-motivated way to accept the ruling class culture. Of course, good cultures of other ethnics always made it to the acceptance of the ruling class. Some Gurage dialects such as MESMES died out. Politically Gurage got alienated (by the systems as well as self-motivated redirection to business as Jews did in Europe). Why do I raise these? Because I believe Gurage has to be self-conscious about politics, the right to self-administration and preservation of useful culture (not damaging ones) and be active in the countries major issues outside of business too (I am not talking about Sodo Gurage that always favor piggy backing ruling systems to get benefit than raise major Gurage issues). I am not suggesting Gurage should dwell on what happened in the past like the Oromos and Tigrayans are doing. Gurage has to work to redeem its current and future status including the right to defend itself in all peaceful ways possible and defend itself in all ways possible when its existence is threatened. The elites come and go with their evil rules and ideology, but the poor people are the ones who carry the brunt of their evil experiment in all regions of Ethiopia. By the way, believe me, Gurage never had a right politician representing the broad interest of the grassroot people. Biramtu Nega is a person who grew up in Nazareth, basically he is just one of the Oromumas and he told Gurage he is not a Gurage. Those who tried to echo back the cry of the poor people were abused, imprisoned and killed by Abiy regime and their parties were disbanded, hunted. Huresa of course is old fa@rt EPRP, mad socialist propaganda slogan writer with flights of ideas; just forget it. He is not a Gurage too. The person called Dama is a useless good for nothing idiot Muslim mixing bigotry and toxic Islam false activism. There sure are people who deliberate on all the issues raised but as it is often Ethiopian culture, many prefer to stay silent or hate to be ethnic oriented (in favor of Ethiopian ideal for a country) as it is often a problem in Amhara society too. That position is dangerous as there is no problem in advocating for the people you came from specially for the equitable representation in the country's affairs.
