Matthew (ማቴዎስ) 5:3-12

3 “በመንፈስ ድኾች የሆኑ ብፁዓን ናቸው፤ መንግሥተ ሰማይ የእነርሱ ናትና።

4 የሚያዝኑ ብፁዓን ናቸው፤ መጽናናትን ያገኛሉና።

5 የዋሆች ብፁዓን ናቸው፤ ምድርን ይወርሳሉና።

6 ጽድቅን የሚራቡና የሚጠሙ ብፁዓን ናቸው፤ ይጠግባሉና።

7 ምሕረት የሚያደርጉ ብፁዓን ናቸው፤ ምሕረትን ያገኛሉና።

8 ልባቸው ንጹሕ የሆነ ብፁዓን ናቸው፤ እግዚአብሔርን ያዩታልና።

9 ሰላምን የሚያወርዱ ብፁዓን ናቸው፤ የእግዚአብሔር ልጆች ተብለው ይጠራሉና።

10 ስለ ጽድቅ ብለው የሚሰደዱ ብፁዓን ናቸው፤ መንግሥተ ሰማይ የእነርሱ ናትና።

11 “ሰዎች በእኔ ምክንያት ቢሰድቧችሁ፣ ቢያሳድዷችሁና ክፉውን ሁሉ በሐሰት ቢያስወሩባችሁ፤ ብፁዓን ናችሁ።

12 በሰማይ የምትቀበሉት ዋጋ ታላቅ ስለ ሆነ ደስ ይበላችሁ፤ ሐሤት አድርጉ፤ ከእናንተ በፊት የነበሩትን ነቢያት እንደዚሁ አሳደዋቸዋልና።
