Today, we might not fully grasp the game changing nature, the global and historical significance of this speech, this event. But just imagine for a moment what it means to articulate the powers of India and Africa as a unified or integrated force.
India and Africa together have 3,000,000,000 (three billion people) which about 38% of the world population. Yes, India + Africa = 38% of the world. When the 54 African countries (AU) begin to think and act as one country unified by a single law and constitution, we would be talking about two countries - India & Africa constituting 3 billion people, 38% of the world.
It is kind of human resource, natural resource, knowledge resource, markets and total dynamics we are talking about when we say INDO-AFRICA OR AFRO-INDIAN UNITED POWER.
What is today called THE GLOBAL SOUTH CONSISTS OF ABOUT 6 BILLION PEOPLE. And, the Indo-African bloc alone is 50% (3 billion) of the total Global South. In Short, this Indo - Ethiopian strategic alliance is the declaration of this amazing vision.
