It is unfortunate there the so called political church counsel does not monitor and condemn pseudo scripture hate preaching. The narratives of these pseudo protestant preachers should not be underestimated. Pitching one country with South vs North narrative may sound simple, but clearly aims at Orthodox Christian believers at large and two ethnic groups in particular.

To enforce that, they made a proclamation that says higher chamber of Gombot 7 should be filled by those who speak two or more languages.
Ginbot 7 sold the narratives of Ethiopian unity and democracy while having such bigotry baggages. Who financed Ginbot-7 and who were trained to fight for its cause, the foolish Amharas who will do anything if you come in the name of Ethiopian.

I like the pastor's concept of equality for all Ethiopians. And his story of the discrminations that have characterized Ethiopia since the armed north came to our lands and the doorsteps of our homes and behaved masters. I also liked his conclusion that this black on black apartheid system of the liars and the thieves is no longer acceptable because the times have chnaged."We have God. We are aware. And we are organized." Delivered in a soothing and calmimg voice of a southern evangelist.

Don't dismiss public displeasures, protests so recklessly. Especially when a religious leader speaks up like Desmond Tutu against SA aparteid. It only adds to frustrations to those who seek redress. Accumulated oppressions lead to ruptures, revolutions, and sad ends.

The Southern part of Ethiopia would have been a nomadic landscape without the North. Today intermarriage and coexistence created an unbreakable bond between diverse cultures.
The elites of the South are the ones who are trying to exploit differences to overcome their inferiority complex.
And they are flirting with military adventures on behalf of Oromuma.
I wouldn’t want to go there. Very dangerous.
