I have been saying that Abiy and his OPDO/OLF cadres did my job and many others who were trying hard to woke the sleeping Amharas. I have tried for over 15 years for Amharas to organize on their ethnic lines but I was scolded and insulted by my own people calling me zeregna, ye Weyanne virus teshekami...etc.

I could say that I was only able to convince and add only 15-20 Amharas into the Amhara nationalism movements. Fast forward Abiy Ahmed came and created millions Amhara hard liners than me. Abiy can only make Amharas stronger and stronger with the brutal way they harass innocent Amharas.

With that Abiy and his circles are the biggest contributors to our struggles
