I doubt any of this is true. As per my investigation, the role they are given to play by EPRDF and PP is narrow. It's to play a spoiler regarding a movement to unify Gurage under one polity.

Jula is right it is time to train and deploy the SODO brigade. Just follow them with a military police to shoot deserters. Well, with truck loads of diapers.
