Now they can push for any land appropriation from nearby Gurage. When Gurage was self ruling in the old days, it would defend itself from Oromo and hadiya savages. Gurage is now ruled by cadres and profiteers, the misery will continue.
Zerma, if still exists, should defend its land. Stand with Fano and similar support groups. Devise a way to obtain self defence equipments.

I could not agree with you more. Gurage needs to organize, arm and defend itself. Gurage is large, rich and educated but it is being tested by guests such as Qebena and Mareqo it has accepted during their worst times when Oromo kicked them out of their lands around Arsi area. They are small(Mareqo 40-50,000, Qebena 20-25000), poor and illiterate. For organized and armed Gurage, they are not a match at all.
Zerma disbanded itself months after Clown Abiy came to power. Their leaders kept on speaking for Gurage Region. He did not like it. He locked them up for more than a year without any charges. He then pardoned them as if they committed crimes. Zerma did not have office, no membership, no elections. They were social media groups, barely knew one another.
Of course, an organized and armed Gurage will have a larger call about how Gurage is treated by the successive Ethipiopian governments.
