What is the end game of Egypt backed alliance against Abiy!
It is obvious Egypt is trying its best to pressure Abiy to sign a zero sum water share agreement and every Ethiopian force supported by Egypt & Eritrea is directly or indirectly supporting Ethiopian enemies to weaken mother Ethiopia. On the other side Abiy has failed as a leader of Ethiopia based on his repetitive failures for more than 7 years. Axumezana cannot blindly support those forces who are working with Ethiopia's enemies or similarly he cannot also blindly support Abiy who has messed the country. For Egypt if Abiy, under pressure, cannot sign the water share agreement , its next action is to disintegrate Ethiopia such as separation of Tigray & Oromia from Ethiopia and further disintegration of Ethiopia , which will enable them to arm twist a leader of a fragmented country. For the sake of mother Ethiopia Axumezana decision is to side with Abiy based on a condition that he stops further blood shed of Ethiopians by engaging in a genuine dialogue and negotiation with OLA, FANO and TPLF. He should be ready to resign if required and a transition government that involves all stakeholders has to be established as soon as possible.
