Fano’s military capability is impressive. However

Fano should know that building an army and also a leading organization takes years. No rebel group marches to the capital just only 2 years after it’s foundation. Hence, Fano should now return to its geurella tactics and stop moving like an army. Fano has shown that it can operate as an army if necessary but the organizational structure that is necessary to effectively lead such a huge task is not yet completed.

Hence, Fano should now be wise and learn from the failures of TDF which prematurely acted as a conventional army and focused on capturing towns and cities. That should not be a priority of Fano at this stage. For now it should focus on destroying the capabilities of the enemy and not too much focus on capturing towns and cities like Woldiya which have zero strategic value the armed struggle. Otherwise and with the air power of the regime, Fano could suffer heavy losses just like TDF.

Having said that, I am certain that Fano will ultimately march to Addis. I have no doubt about that but everything takes time.

Tamari,

What FANO needs to do is form an alliance with TPLF. What ! Yes. An alliance to defeat the greater enemy by forming a temporary aliliance is not something new. In Eritrean struggle, there was an alliance between EPLF and ELF. Except, Isayas betrayed ELF at the last minute. In hindsight sight, without that Alliance,Eritrea would have not been semi independent today. The fu..Coker betrayed the revolution. Regardless, an alliance between TPLF and FANo could be the quicker win over the former POW dominated, TPLF brain child OPDO aka prosperity party demise. Off course, it is easier said than done. Give and take would be involved.
