Horn Review:-"If TPLF refrains from its acts of belligerence, OPDO could continue its restraint against Eritrea"

Post by Za-Ilmaknun » 25 Sep 2025, 14:31

As this article from one of OPDO's bigwigs, Lencho Bati, reveals, the Assab bravado of the OPDO government is simply empty hot air. They are masking their fear of being taken over by forces waging war against the OPDO regime.

"Unless a way can be found to pressure the TPLF hardliners to abandon their plan to resume hostilities, the conflagration in northern Ethiopia becomes inevitable. Without the hardliners and the sizeable armed forces that they still command, the Eritrean government will not be capable of waging war against Ethiopia. And so long as these hardliners refrain from acts of belligerence, the federal government in Addis Ababa could be counted to continue its policy of restraint in the face of various provocations it has faced from the TPLF hardliners. The TPLF hardliners are training and arming new combat units, have forcibly taken over some of the contested areas, such as Raya, they have used force to dismantle the interim administration established by the federal government in accordance with the Pretoria agreement."

A regrouped TPLF is smelling blood.
When Abiye had the opportunity and the muscle to dismantle and destroy the TPLF, he left them to survive hoping they will help him in the genocide against the Amharas.
Not only that he unintentionally united the two enemies. Creating a very important lifeline for the TPLF.
It is the Oromuma tragedy.

What a terrible miscalculation. ENDF is about to explode on its own as it cannot fight a civil war anymore.

Left or right, for the Amhara people, it is not a matter of choosing the lesser evil - because OLF, TPLF, and Shabia are all evil. Each of them harbors a deep-seated hatred toward the Amhara. Their complaints, their infighting, their growling—these may sound sweet, almost like soft music, but the Amhara should not be distracted by their fake squabbles.

Instead, the focus must be on building a strong and defense force, Fano.

What is the TPLF fighting for, after all? To steal Amhara land and people? The same goes for OLF-PP. Any distraction created by these groups is simply a cover for carrying out more harm against the Amhara.
