- Alliance with Isaias to destroy TPLF was a strategic mistake
- He failed to restore security ( he was the one that destabilized Ethiopia on his endeavour to come to power) .
- He failed to keep his promise to bring democracy instead he encouraged one man dictatorship
- He choose war over peaceful resolution of misunderstanding & conflicts
- The genocidal war on Tigray by using Eritrea and shifta Amhara forces was a grave strategic mistake
- Failed to implement the Pretoria Peace Agreement with Tigray
- Failed to defeat Tigray, Amhara & Oromia & created quagmire on himself
- He implemented a liberalized economic policy while the country has been facing economic decline due failed change , instabilities, conflicts and wars.
- He gave blind eye to the suffering of the people due to growing instability , economic melt down
- He also gave blind eye to the growing corruption culture in his government
- He focused on quick win projects like the corridor development & construction of white elephant recreation centers.
- Has not been able to learn from his past mistakes but continued with a zero sum approach, lie and denial to stay in power at any cost
Overall Abiy last 7 years in power has been a failure - he & his PP party also failed in managing change and it's is mandatory that he should be replaced.
