Are Ethiopians learning anything from Nepal?

Post by Tiago » 14 Sep 2025, 22:29

If Nepalese can successfully remove dictatorship, why can't we??
Nepalese style protest/ uprising may not fare well in Addis Ababa since the respectability of the army
is poles apart.
The so-called Ethiopian army is merely serving and protecting the horrendous Galla warlords.
It's propensity for violence and extreme savagery is an open secret.
Abiy is willing to use maximum force and bloodbath to stay in power .but unlike Nepal we have FANO and OLA that can take the opportunity to unseat Abiy Ahmed.
Stoppage or stay-at-home protest can have similar effect without resorting to violence .
Stop work,schools and markets/shops.
If sustained, stay-at-home protest can result in PP falling apart.
