I appreciate your advice. I remain committed to principle and truth, guided by my own framework of understanding.

The situation became murky when Shabia-aligned trolls began conflating Ethiopia with Abiy Ahmed. Instead of holding Abiy and the OLF - whom they helped empower—accountable, they direct their insults at Ethiopia itself and expect us to believe their narrative, which we know is false.

Whenever Ethiopia is insulted, I feel compelled to respond with truth and clarity. I understand very well why Abiy is suddenly invoking Assab, but let’s be honest: under either Shabia or Abiy, Assab is not for Ethiopians. In fact, even Addis Ababa feels increasingly alien to Ethiopians today.

At the core, we stand for truth and we speak it plainly. If you ask any genuine Ethiopian who Assab belongs to, the answer is simple: Assab belongs to Ethiopia. We cannot afford to compromise truth for short-term convenience.
