Castigating them as agents of the much hated governing political party ensures their crimes were politically motivated the punishments of which will not be based on the penal codes of Ethiopia but by the judgmemnts of Fano politicians. Judgements will not be proprtional to their crimes. This is scary.
Also, parading criminals on streets for public view as a deterent or in this case in front of a camcorder to broadcast it to the public is not allowed in any penal code in the world.
