The Book of Enoch is only accepted by the Eritrean and Ethiopian Orthodox churches. Other christian streams don’t accept it and the Jews don’t accept is as part of the old testament. It is a historical religious book the only copy which is available in Geez and Aramaic.

You get a good point for remembering that!
That is one of the few places the book of enoch is cross referenced in new testament. It looks it was read in the early centuries but it fell off favor later on partly because it was not available in the hebrew form and there was some question of originality. There are many other books the orthodox churchs, catholic and protestants differ. The book of enoch delves a bit deep in the story the fallen world and spirits-may be not for the faint hearted too!

The question is not who has how many books or who has the greatest books. Also, it is not who has the best pick and who does not have one. Although these things later got connected with national identity etc specially after and during the time of colonization. We now live in the epoch of Grace due to the work of Jesus Christ. The Jews are still reading their 24 books of the Old Testament (they call it Tanakh) but the protestants read these books in 39 headings but same book. Protestants add the 27 new testaments books. So, the protestants decided to read the same bible part the jews read for the old testament and add 27 books of the new testament. This is just kind of consensus at the time of reformation.
The most important books to emphasize for the new generation or epoch of salvation by Jesus are the new testament books, however it does not mean the old testament books should be taken lightly or discarded as it is the word of God that still guides people spiritually (the spiritual meaning not the cultural or direct meaning). Here, below, are the summaries of why the book of Enoch fell off from other Christian denominations and the number of books each church has.

The Book of Enoch was popular in some early Jewish and Christian circles, but it was never widely accepted as inspired scripture because:
It had uncertain authorship and mixed origins.
It contained apocalyptic (end of world) visions and angelology that some leaders found theologically questionable.

Roman Catholic Church

Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church

You are Protestant but knowledgable about the Christian bible information. My question to you is, does Ethiopia still has the copy of Enoch? My feelings is that, currently the world is going through turmoil and the world elites are creating the apocalypse, probably because they maybe acting on the book of Enoch. Every time Ethiopia goes in turmoil, since 70 years now, its artefacts, gets stolen because, somewhere in another nations, want to use it for power while sucking the energy out of Ethiopia.

As for Prof above, he was staunch pro Tplf, was born in Wellega. What Ethiopians need to understand that the fifth column in Ethiopia began 400 yrs ago where anti Ethiopia elements have been moving in Ethiopia living among the peoples, creating generations in order to destroy Ethiopia.
