Ethiopia is far more blessed in its natural resources if it finds ways how to use it. The countries with sea access should provide services similar to the services land locked European countries receive. However, war-torn Ethiopia has an opportunity to play all these five coastal neighboring countries (Djibouti, Somalia, Kenya, Eritrea and Sudan) to improve its bargaining position but it first needs to build infrastructure, such as railway, roads and highways to connect all five countries, Only then will neighboring countries provide competitive port usage prices.
