Nagessa Oddo Dube (I think a Borana or Guji Oromo, the site of Oromo truth still) has something to say to the collection of inept Oromo "scholars" of the diaspora. They are an embarrassment to the Oromo people but they don't represent the cause of the Oromo people, just their bellies.

Nagessa wrote on his FB today:

essentially what he is saying is that there is a myth around rats calling for an assembly of Rats (Summits of the Rats) and then making their agenda point about how to escape being preyed on by the cats. And then a participant (rat) proposed about hanging a metal ring on the neck of the cat so that every time the cat moves the rats can hear the sound of the ring and bring themselves into safety. The rest of the participants applauded the idea as an innovative great idea that will solve this age old problem that their race faced on the face of the earth. Jubilation followed and the full of the hall was caught in a joy.
Then an elderly rat (a wise, like this man of the Borana or Guji Oromo) raised his hands and made a point about what has been suggested and said is good, no question but who will going to hang the ring on the neck of the cat for the realization of the novel idea?
The whole hall was caught in silence, the jubilation ended and no one could dare to say I am prepared to overtake the task. The whole ecstasy ended with that and the noises subdued with it, instantly.
