China awards scholarships to Somali military officials

The Chinese government has awarded military scholarships to 31 officers from the Somali National Armed Forces, China only awards military scholarships to officers from its close neighboring countries and to natural resource-rich countries it wants an alliance with such as Somalia, China is strengthening its existing ties with Somalia.
